Students from the Rugby and Netball Academies went head to head in a no holds bared charity netball match to raise money for local girl Jorgie-Rae Griffiths.

To make the match even more interesting the rugby boys wore netball dresses in the competitive game which took place in front of lots of spectators who had each made a donation to Jorgie-Rae's fund to watch.

Three year old Jorgie-Rae suffers from a rare Neuroblastoma cancer and requires treatment in America. Her family are trying to raise £200,000 to fund the trip.

The match took place at lunchtime today and over a hundred students made donations to watch.  It was a close faught game, but in the end the girls were victorious defeating the rugby team 15 to 9.
