A time to Reflect at the School Carol Services

After a busy term, the Christmas festivities culminated with the annual school Carol Services.  Students and staff alike gathered for a time of reflection to remember the true reason for the season.

Students lead Bible readings depicting the story of Christ’s birth, carols were sung accompanied by the school orchestra and choir and prayers lead by Mr Waller. It was a wonderful way to round off the term and focus our attention on why we celebrate Christmas. Mr Waller encouraged us all to consider this quote from German theologian Meister Eckhart, “What good is it that Christ was born 2000 years ago if he is not now born in your heart?”
