The school choir led the carols with the help of a group of staff and students who play a range of instruments. Headteacher Mr Waller said: "We would like to thank St Michael's for having us again this year. The carol service is something staff and students look forward to in the run up to Christmas as it brings us together to take some time to think aout the meaning of Christmas.

"I would also like to thank all the staff and sixth form students who helped organise the event and ensured students could travel to and from the church safely."
