Family, staff and students were treated to an array of festive musical acts last night at our annual Christmas Concert.
From John Lennon’s ‘War is Over’ to a three minute version of Tschaikovsky’s ‘The Nutcracker’ there was a genre for everyone to enjoy. The pieces were performed by students from all years, some solo and a plethora of various ensembles and orchestras.
Music teacher Miss Dawson said, “We are very proud of the students who overcame their nerves and performed so beautifully for the enjoyment of others. It was a lovely way to start off the festive season”.
Music teacher Mr Brown added, “We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the families and friends of the students who came along to support us. We really do appreciate it, and it gives our students an opportunity to demonstrate their talents”.
