16 year old Luke, who is well known around Carr Hill for his trademark top knot, decided to chop it off to give a little back to Marie Curie after they looked after his Grandad in his final days. He said, “There are a lot of people who have wanted to cut my top knot off for some time now so I thought it’d be great to raise a bit of money for this good cause. Marie Curie were great with my Grandad when he was ill and this is my way of saying thank you to them.”
Luke is hoping that the hair which has been cut off can be donated to help make a wig for a cancer patient. So far a whopping £425 has been raised, but there is still time to donate by clicking here.
