In 2016 our students have raised over £9,500 for a variety of causes including Cardiac Risk in the Young, Sport Relief, Brian House Hospice, Mission4Water and the Friends of the Hwange Trust.

Pupils raised this impressive total by taking part in activities such as a sponsored swim, a sponsored run and designing and selling postcards- giving their time, energy and creativity to help others. Students even had the chance to 'pie a teacher' as part of the whole school fundraising efforts. Pupils ended the year by donating over 20 bags of food to the Salvation Army Foodbank Appeal whilst one student re-raffled a Christmas raffle prize he had won raising £225 for the Teenage Cancer Trust .

Headteacher Mr Waller said: "Students have thrown themselves into fundraising efforts during the last 12 months and the results have been fantastic. The money raised will help people and animals across the country and the world. In addition to helping others, fundraising also gives our students confidence, a sense of achievement and the great feeling that comes from doing something good for someone else."
