Students from Year 7 to Year 10 were invited to a celebratory evening which recognised their contribution to the school community.

Pupils were joined by family and friends as staff awarded them with certificates and trophies acknowledging their many accomplishments. Each subject awarded a student in each year group with the highest attainment, progress and effort award before announcing an overall winner. Pupils were also commended for 100 percent attendance, number of merits and contribution to the community by their respective college leaders, before the college leaders announced their ‘Student of the Year’.

Mr Waller said: “Thank you to the students and families who attended the Celebration Evening. The event is about recognising the contributions our students make to the school community on a daily basis, how they support and positively influence their peers, represent the school at extra-curricular events, demonstrate a good work ethic and focus in their lessons and so much more. I hope all those who attended enjoyed the evening and thank you again to our students for everything they have given to the school community this year.
