The Carr Hill High School community are so proud of Daniel in Year 9, who has achieved a Distinction in his Grade 5 Trombone exam. Recently passing his Grade 5 theory exam, and practising hard, he had one aim - to achieve the best possible standard in his exam. Daniel has worked extremely hard in his online lessons during lockdown and received a bursary from the British Trombone Society to help fund his musical education. Daniel is also a member of the Lancashire Youth Brass Band, Freckleton Youth Band and HONK, the Lancashire Youth Street Band. We are extremely proud of what Daniel has achieved at a young age, well done Daniel!
Daniel's Mentor teacher, Mr Churm says, "Another great achievement for Daniel" and Miss Clancy, Head of Year 9 exclaimed "Fabulous!". Daniel's story has also featured on the British Trombone Society's Facebook page as they are very proud of him, as are we. Congratulations on your achievement!
