Carr Hill High School has become a member of the Lancashire Skills Pledge, a commitment to inspire and develop skills of people in Lancashire.

School Business Manager Mrs Childs was presented with the school’s certificate following the commitment the school has made to staff who are currently completing qualifications. Julie herself is also an Apprentice Ambassador for the pledge working towards a degree qualification in school business management.

Julie said: “We signed up to the Lancashire Skills Pledge to support us in our commitment to upskilling our workforce, and educating all our young people on skills for life"

The Lancashire Skills Pledge provides one place to find out more about employer facing skills and training initiatives. Employers are able to sign up and then a pledge partner who is an expert, will be in touch to help with the pledge.
