Carr Hill students send cards for Rhys

Students at Carr Hill have designed and signed birthday cards for a Lancashire teenager who has a rare life-limiting and agonising skin condition following an appeal from his mum ahead of his 14^th birthday.

Students have deigned the cards in mentor time. They will be sent by the school to Rhys who lives in Bolton and turns 14 on 21^st September. Rhys’ mum has appealed for the cards to be sent to Rhys to show him how many people care.

Year 8 mentor Miss Chauhan said: “Thank you to all the students who have taken the time to get involved in this. I’ve received so many fantastic cards which I’m sure will mean a lot to Rhys.”
