Carr Hill High School is appealing to students who have an interest in writing or news reading to help deliver school news.

The school is looking for student authors to write short stories, news articles or reviews to be shared across the school community. In addition to this we are also looking for news readers to deliver a special Friday version of the Hub News.

Following the launch of the ‘We are Reading’ initiative last summer, Carr Hill is encouraging reading and creative writing amongst all students and the student author posts have been created to give students the opportunity to share their work and develop their writing style. The Friday edition of the Hub News will be delivered by student news readers each week and will focus sharing the achievements of students across the school whether that be in the classroom or in an extra-curricular setting.

For more information about both these roles please speak to Mrs Bateson in the Hub or email ebateson@carrhill.lancs.sch.uk
