At Carr Hill High School and Sixth Form Centre we have developed a curriculum that inspires and encourages our students to learn.

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum, recognised by Ofsted as one of the strengths of our school, which enables Carr Hill students to pursue their talents and aspirations.

Our Learning Support Department is very active. All pupils are challenged and encouraged to excel, and our top students are supported by our Gifted & Talented programme.

All subjects fall under one of six learning clusters. The clusters combine a range of subjects that complement one another and allow teaching staff to share best practice and ideas in order to provide an outstanding education for all students. This creates a positive and productive working environment for every student, enabling them to develop their talents and pursue their aspirations.

SEN
Carr Hill High School and Sixth Form Centre is committed to whole school inclusion of students with special educational needs and behavioural difficulties. We believe that every student has an entitlement to develop to their full potential. Educational experiences are provided which develop students' achievements and recognise their individuality. Diversity is valued as a rich resource which supports the learning of all. In this school, inclusion recognises a student's right to a broad, balanced, relevant and challenging curriculum which is appropriate to their individual abilities, talents and personal qualities.
