CARR HILL SAMBA BAND ENTERTAINS AT KIRKHAM CLUB DAY |

The Carr Hill Samba Band entertained thousands as they took part in the parade for Kirkham Club Day.
Students, accompanied by Head of Music Ms Waring and Miss Murnan, walked for more than two hours as they joined in the three mile extravaganza.
Thousands of onlookers cheered them on and many thanked the students for bringing such a vibrant act to the annual event.

Mr Collins has entered our school's art department into national art competition via the 'Saatchi Gallery / Sunday Telegraph Art Prize for Schools for 2010'.
We are entering work throughout KS3 to P16, and this work is now visible on the Saatchi Gallery website.

The school allotment is now mostly complete! The fence has been finished and the three major veg beds have been put in.
Many thanks to HMP Kirkham for all their hard work and if any pupil (or grown-up) wants to join us, we garden during enrichment on a Thursday 2.00 - 3.10pm and after school on Mondays 3.10-4.10pm. |

YOU are being given the opportunity to showcase your various talents in TWO talent shows to be held in school.
Firstly there is the
INTER-COLLEGE TALENT SHOW
organised by the Music Department on Wednesday June 30th at 7pm.
Auditions are already underway for this hugely popular annual event and this year it's hoped you will all get on board and support your fellow college students.
And to make the event even more exciting there is going to be an
INDEPENDENT JUDGING PANEL
with invited media experts from the world of radio and newspapers.

The second show is a first as we celebrate our excellent enrichment programme with an
ENRICHMENT SHOWCASE!
This event will take place on Tuesday July 13th between 7pm and 9pm.
The Showcase is an opportunity for Enrichment students to show off the dance routines, drama, singing or even circus skills they have learned.
