Carr Hill High School and Sixth Form Centre is a school transformed. Talented and hard working staff and students have worked together, with parents, to produce record breaking results in 2009. Our Year 7 to 11 students belong to one of six Colleges and a mentor group where different ages mix together. We have a new, smarter uniform. Every Thursday afternoon in school time our students participate in a massive range of extra-curricular activities, with older students encouraged to develop independent study skills before joining our Sixth Form. We provide continuous professional development to our teaching staff. Teachers actively coach each other to improve learning in their lessons. Our students help make the big decisions. We have a fantastic new Sixth Form Centre and school Dining Hall, and our Sixth Form is expanding.
